i wanted to throw a quick song out before i venture off with my roommate to experience the day in the life of a UT student. i happened to be listening to a funny feature called "top 25 most played" on itunes [funny because it's extremely revealing.] & i happened upon this gem of a tune i hadn't had my ears ringing around for a while. it's by a lovely band called the national. the song is wasp's nest. it's number two on my "top 25 most played", & i think that speaks volumes in itself.
it's a wonderful 8-in-the-morning-sitting-glazed-eyed-next-to-your-best-friend song.
